Teens Work KnowHow Program

Launch Event

Updated: Thursday 15 September

Unfortunately we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone this activity, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

We are hoping to be able to reschedule this to a date in early 2023, and we will share further information about this with our community as soon as possible.

About the event

Join our teen participants and their families, our host employers, and the AV team as we celebrate the AV Teens Work KnowHow Program at this fun and inclusive launch event!

This wonderful event has been two years in the making and acknowledges the contributions of our generous host employers and the achievements of our fabulous participants in this groundbreaking program, made possible by funding from the Department of Social Services ILC grant program.

Held in the Premier Room at the Windy Hill Venue in Essendon, the formalities of the afternoon will alternate with rounds of trivia, hosted by our guest MC, trivia master and autistic “Brain for hire”, Ben Sorensen - @bensorensen1.

RSVP by 5pm Thursday 15 September to secure your space!

NB: this event is invitation only and is limited to Teens Work KnowHow participants and their families, host employers and support organisations, and members of the AV team.
