By joining Aspergers Victoria as a member, you will be playing a vital role in the invaluable ongoing work AV does to provide opportunities for people with Aspergers, autistic people, and the wider neurodivergent community to connect, share stories and information, find meaningful employment opportunities, and most importantly, feel part of a community who just “gets” you.

As a valued AV professional member, you will have access to a wide range of member benefits, including discounts and guest tickets, opportunities to access training and workshops for your team, the option to have your logo displayed on the AV homepage or to be included in our AV Professional Directory,as well as having the opportunity to contribute to the development of AV into the future.


AV Professional Memberships - Overview


Our AV Professional Memberships allow businesses and organisations to become AV members, to access AV member benefits for themselves and their team, and to demonstrate your organisation’s commitment to inclusion and celebration of our autistic community in the workplace and in the wider world.


As of January 2023, in response to member and community feedback, AV offers three professional membership types, designed to meet the needs of various types of businesses and organisations within our community.



Within our Professional Membership category, we offer:


  • Autism Supporter Membership for small and medium businesses operating outside the autism and allied health space.

  • Corporate Membership for large organisations operating outside the autism and allied health space.

  • Service Provider Membership for businesses of any size providing services within the autism and allied health space.
    This includes health and service professionals (including allied and mental health practitioners), NDIS providers and plan managers, schools, not-for-profit organisations, etc.


Payment / renewal options include auto-renew (requires PayPal) or one-year (PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer).

AV Professional Membership Benefits


All AV professional membership holders enjoy AV general member benefits as well as additional AV professional member benefits, which include:

  • Access to an “Autism Ally” logo to add to your website to display your commitment to inclusion and support of our autistic community

  • Access to our online presentations “What is Autism” and “How to Empower the Autistic Community” to support your organisation in offering inclusive and empowering professional development opportunities *

  • A listing for your business in our AV Professional Directory to maximise your exposure to our community. *

  • Advertising and sponsorship opportunities to support you to expand your marketing opportunities and networking connections. *

  • Access to consulting and team member training opportunities to offer your team tailored and inclusive professional development content. *

Professional Memberships: Additional Benefits, Structure, and Fees



Autism Supporter Membership

  • Membership fee: $200 per year

  • Number of listed members: 2 maximum

  • Open to: small/medium businesses (fewer than 10 staff) operating outside the autism and allied health space.

  • Membership benefits:

    • Option to add one additional team member to your membership

    • Access to member rate event tickets for up to two listed team members

    • Access to a guest ticket for each listed team member

    • Discounted access to our online presentation “What is Autism”

    • Access to our “Autism Ally” logo to add to your website

    • Access to job coaching for up to two listed team members

    • As well as AV general member benefits




Service Provider Membership

  • Membership fee: $150 per year

  • Number of listed members: 5 maximum

  • Open to: businesses of any size providing services within the autism and allied health space.
    Includes mental health providers, coaches, therapists, medical practitioners, government and non-government schools, NDIS providers and local area coordinators.

  • Membership benefits:

    • Option to add up to four additional team members to your membership

    • Access to member rate event tickets for up to five listed team members

    • Access to a guest ticket for each listed team member

    • Discounted access to our online presentation “What is Autism”

    • Discounted access to our online presentation “How to Empower the Autistic Community”

    • Access to our “Autism Ally” logo to add to your website

    • As well as AV general member benefits

  • Bonus benefits included on top of general Professional Membership benefits:

    • Opportunity to advertise your business to the AV community via social media and the AV newsletter once each membership year.

    • Access to job coaching and / or training for up to five listed team members

    • Opportunity to sponsor AV activities

  • Bonus benefits unique to Service Provider Membership holders:

    • Listing in our online AV Professional Directory for industry professionals (only available to Service Provider Membership holders)


NB: Content submitted for the AV Professional Directory will appear on the AV website and may be subject to approval and editing by the Membership Coordinator and / or AV admin team before publication.




Corporate Membership

  • Membership fee: $500 per year

  • Number of listed members: 5

  • Open to: organisations larger than 10 staff (non-allied health providers)

  • Membership benefits:

    • Option to add up to four additional team members to your membership

    • Access to member rate event tickets for up to five listed team members

    • Access to a guest ticket for each listed team member

    • Discounted access to our online presentation “What is Autism” online including Q&A

    • Discounted access to our online presentation “How to Empower the Autistic Community”

    • Access to our “Autism Ally” logo to add to your website

    • As well as AV general member benefits

  • Bonus benefits included on top of general Professional Membership benefits:

    • Opportunity to advertise your business to the AV community via social media and the AV newsletter once each membership year.

    • Access to job coaching and / or training for up to five listed team members at a discounted rate

  • Bonus benefits only available to Corporate Membership holders:

    • First opportunity to sponsor AV activities (only available to Corporate Membership holders)

    • Discounted access to up to ten hours of consulting focused on autism inclusion and advocacy, neurodivergent-friendly recruiting and onboarding practices, and creating and sustaining autism-friendly workplaces (only available to Corporate Membership holders)

    • Option to advertise employment opportunities on the AV Employment Opportunities page (only available at this membership level)

    • Your business logo will be uploaded to the AV home page as a sponsor (only available to Corporate Membership holders)
