AV's Info Help Team offers a confidential email-based service to provide support, information and referrals to our members, and our community including people with Aspergers, people who are autistic, people with other similar neurodivergent profiles, as well as their supporters. The range of our information is broad, including but not limited to topics such as:
Education issues
Relationships
Professional support options
Allied health options
Assistance to extended families and friends
Assessment and new diagnosis support
The AV Info Help team are all volunteers with a personal connection to Aspergers and a member of Aspergers Victoria. As peers, they understand many of the situations our community experience, and they have experience, knowledge and access to resources about Aspergers, autism, and other similar neurodivergent profiles which they share with our community.
Our AV Info Help team volunteers have access to ongoing volunteer training and development. However, they are not mental health professionals and cannot provide crisis support. As they are all volunteers, it may take them a few days to respond to your enquiry.
