Group Training Workshops for Employers

Our workshops offer comprehensive, customizable training to help employers and teams better understand autism in the workplace. We focus on the latest community insights and research to help you implement real, systemic change in your organization. Tailored options include:

Workshop Facilitators

Our workshops are led by a team of experienced facilitators, each bringing unique insights to ensure a well-rounded learning experience.

• Michelle Ridsdale – Primary Host and Facilitator: Michelle, an experienced HR professional, leads our workshops. With her combined HR expertise and deep understanding of neurodiversity, she ensures each session is practical and engaging.

• Leslie Clemets – GM of Aspergers Victoria: Available for additional facilitation upon request, Leslie brings the perspective of both a mother of autistic children and a manager with firsthand experience leading and supporting neurodivergent individuals.

• Jacob Alan Kness – Employment Services Lead: Jacob’s 25 years of lived experience with ASD and his role as the head of employment services make him a key contributor to our programs. He specializes in practical employment solutions and is available for facilitation upon request.

Together, our facilitators ensure that every aspect of the workshop is comprehensive and tailored to your needs.

• Duration: Our sessions typically last 1.5 hours, including a 30-minute Ask Me Anything Q&A to address your specific questions.
• Pricing:
  • Online sessions: Starting at $500.
  • In-person sessions: Starting at $1000.
  • Prices may vary depending on the creation of additional customized materials or facilitator expertise requests.

Are you an employee who believes your workplace could benefit from autism training but would rather not raise the issue directly? You can anonymously nominate your workplace for training. Our Programs Manager will reach out on your behalf to discuss our offerings with your organization.

1-on-1 Job Coaching for Employees

For employers looking to provide direct support to autistic team members, our 1-on-1 Job Coaching offers individualized guidance to help employees succeed in the workplace.

These sessions are designed to:

• Overcome workplace challenges.
• Develop strategies to enhance job performance and long-term retention.

This coaching is ideal for fostering a more supportive and inclusive work environment, ensuring both the employee and your team benefit from tailored strategies.

Aspergers Victoria (AV) - VPS Autism Support Services Panel - Confidential Coaching and Training Services

Are you a Victorian Public services employee? 

Aspergers Victoria is an approved provider under the Victorian Public Service (VPS) Autism Support Services Panel, offering tailored 1-on-1 Confidential Coaching and Group Training Sessions. Our services are part of the panel's initiative to support autistic/neurodiverse employees, their managers, and teams across the public sector, fostering inclusive and supportive workplaces.

Confidentiality and Data Handling
All expressions of interest are handled with strict confidentiality. Information is de-identified to ensure individual privacy, and only systemic data is provided to employers, offering insights without compromising personal information. This helps maintain a balance between support and privacy, empowering employees while building understanding and capacity across departments.

1-on-1 Coaching Serivces

• Tailored coaching support for autistic and neurodiverse employees, helping them build strategies to succeed in their roles while offering ongoing guidance for managers to implement effective adjustments and support.
