JOIN THE AV STAFF TEAM

AV runs primarily on a team of committed and enthusiastic volunteers, in conjunction with a small number of critical staff roles. Would you love to jump out of bed everyday knowing your role is critical to create connection and inclusion for Aspergers autistic individuals and their allies? Would you like to use your skills to empower our Aspergers autistic community with inclusive supports that change their lives?

Please then consider our change-making roles outlined here and apply! At the moment we have several vacancies on our staff team:

Coaching Co-Ordinator - This Head Coach role uses your coaching skills with Aspergers autistic Members to identify their vision and work pathway goals, reveal their strengths and areas for development and identify solutions and pathways for moving forward. Your will oversee our Coaching Program and so be involved with recruiting, onboarding and providing training, support and supervision to other Employment Coaches who mainly have lived experience and will be instrumental in assisting Aspergers Victoria to grow our AV Coach the Coach training package and expand this service. We prefer someone with neurodiversity lived experience who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get this part-time job done- you really want to make a difference to Aspergers, their families and communities

Job Coaches: Work KnowHow Program - This casual Coach role will be working closely with the Employment Project Manager to provide Job Coaching to Participants and Host Employers for our Work Experience Placements.  It is important that you have skills and experience coaching, and lived experience with aspergers autistics or similar neurodivergent profiles.

Please email Leslie for the role outlines.

We do have volunteer positions available including Board roles and Communications role! If you're interested in supporting our team create change in inclusion for our autistics through a volunteer role, please visit our volunteer page for more information.
