Teens Work Know How Program
Expression of Interest
Thank you for your interest in our Aspergers Victoria Teens Work Know How Program. Aspergers Victoria believes that our early career experiences build our life foundations. It is our vision that this exciting new program will provide our community with a pathway to understand themselves, the world of work, and with that their job readiness, in a way that is positive, empowering, practical and geared towards their individual learning styles. Participants in this program will leave with more career understanding, self-confidence and some useful tools to help you map out your own future in work.
We will include parent / guardian briefings as well so they can support your progress. This program is designed to align with the Department of Education requirements for work experience, adapted for COVID restrictions.
Who can attend? - Individuals with Aspergers, autism, or other similar neurodiverse profiles. - Teens aged 15 and older who are currently enrolled in secondary education. - AV members
Is the program free?
Courtesy of a generous ILC grant from the Department of Social Services, our Teens Work Know How program will be free of charge for Aspergers Victoria members.
