All services are:

  • Designed and delivered by autistic lived-experience practitioners

We do not take a therapy or deficit-based approach.
We build capability, clarity and confidence in real-world employment settings.

Career Network

Conversations That Build CareerS

The Career Network connects our community to ideas, employers and each other.

It is the bridge between learning and opportunity.

Topic Spotlight Podcast

Our World of Work podcast explores real employment themes:

  • Recruitment and retention

  • Workplace communication

  • Disclosure and identity

  • Productivity and leadership

  • Inclusive systems design

These are practical conversations — not theory.

Topic Touchstone Sessions

Following each episode, we host facilitated community discussions.
These sessions unpack themes, share lived experience and build collective insight.

Professional Community & LinkedIn Network

Our LinkedIn community extends these conversations into a professional space.

Members can:

  • Share opportunities

  • Build visible professional identity

  • Connect with employers

  • Continue employment discussions

  • Access event updates and insights

The Career Network creates visibility, connection and confidence — which are often as important as skill.

Job Seeker Network

Structured Pathways. Practical Progress.

The Job Seeker Network is our guided group pathway for individuals actively pursuing work.

This is not a drop-in support space. It is structured and progressive.

The Roadmap

Participants receive our Job Seeker Roadmap — a purpose-built framework that breaks employment into practical, achievable modules.

It supports participants to:

  • Clarify strengths and career direction

  • Build self-understanding and confidence

  • Translate strengths into resume language

  • Prepare for interviews with structure

  • Understand recruitment systems

  • Develop workplace communication strategies

“Meet Me Where I’m At” Sessions

Monthly facilitated sessions move through the Roadmap step by step.
Each session is designed to meet participants at different readiness levels — whether exploring options or actively applying.

1:1 Deep Dive Support

Participants can access additional one-on-one sessions with our Job Seeker Facilitator to:

  • Personalise their roadmap

  • Work through barriers

  • Strengthen applications

  • Prepare strategically for interviews

This layered model ensures group momentum with individualised refinement.

Because sustainable employment requires both individual readiness and workplace understanding.

World of Work

An Integrated Employment Ecosystem

World of Work brings together Autism Valued’s employment activity under one connected platform.

Over the past few years, we have developed and delivered employment supports in different formats — group pathways, professional conversations, individual coaching and pilot initiatives. Each created impact. But they were not always intentionally aligned.

In 2026, we are aligning them.

World of Work is the decision to operate as one ecosystem — not separate programs.

Why This Matters

Employment does not happen in isolation.

Confidence is built through conversation.
Strategy is built through structure.
Momentum is built through accountability.
Advocacy is built through lived experience.

When these elements operate independently, progress stalls.
When they reinforce one another, growth accelerates.

World of Work connects these layers so that:

  • Community conversations influence structured support

  • Structured support strengthens individual outcomes

  • Individual outcomes inform advocacy and future direction

  • Visibility and engagement strengthen sustainability

This creates continuity instead of fragmentation.

2026: A More Intentional Direction

This year marks a shift.

We are moving from organic growth to intentional design.

That means:

  • Raising professional standards across all employment services

  • Strengthening alignment between conversation, community and coaching

  • Using the Topic Spotlight platform to increase visibility and membership

  • Leveraging engagement to support future grants and partnerships

  • Creating clearer internal pathways to employ more autistic professionals

We are building infrastructure around lived experience — not replacing it.

The voice of our community remains central.
But the systems supporting that voice are becoming stronger.

The Bigger Picture

World of Work is not simply about helping individuals find jobs.

It is about:

  • Elevating neurodivergent capability

  • Strengthening employer understanding

  • Building economic participation

  • Creating internal opportunity

  • Developing a culture of innovation within Autism Valued

This evolution has required experimentation and learning. It has required adapting what did not work and strengthening what did.

What remains constant is the belief that employment support should be:

Connected.
Strategic.
Community-led.
Sustainable.

That is the direction of World of Work moving into 2026.
