Teen Girls"Social Butterflies" Group

Jewellery or Gift Box Making

Come and have fun with this peer support group for teen girls this Friday 16th November from 7pm.  This month, we're making jewellery and gift boxes with lots of chatting and friendship! Meet our peer mentors, Veronica, Sunny and Georgia who are always up for a chat.

This is the second meeting of this group, initiated and designed by our peer mentors, as a space where girls can get together and share ideas and experiences.  It is for ages 12 to 18 as an extension of our teens group.

Costs:   No Cost for this event.

Time:  7:00 - 9:00 pm
Activity for Teens:
Jewellery or gift box making
What to Bring:  Beads (if you have any you would like to bring). We will supply some also.

Aspergers Victoria volunteers with lived experience run all meetings and welcome new families. All group leaders have a Working With Children Check.  Refer to our Groups page for more information.

Our teen attendees should be independent in a group setting, with no carers in the Teen group.  Our Teen group and peer leaders are very encouraging and welcoming with their peers. Please introduce any new teens to our Leaders on the night.

If you are not a member you can come try the group and then join Aspergers Victoria at https://aspergersvic.org.au/join-us

Please NoteA parent or carer is required to stay on the premises.  You are invited to join the other parents to catch up on your month in another area nearby.

We would welcome a tax deductible donation to support further training of our peer leaders and other volunteers.

Getting There:   There is street parking or parking in the Nerve Centre car parks is also fine. The venue is approximately 5 minutes' walk from Blackburn station, which is serviced by the Belgrave/Lilydale lines and various bus routes.
