Young Adults Peer Group Meeting

Bare Foot / Socks Lawn Bowls Night

Join the Young Adults group for a fun start to 2019!  Meet like-minded peers over a few games of lawn bowls at Caulfield Park Bowling Club. Lessons are provided before we start bowling, so don't worry if you have never played lawn bowls before!

  • This event is for Young Adults who are between the ages of 18-35 years.
  • This is a parent/carer-free zone.
  • New attendees will be made to feel comfortable and welcome by our peer leaders so please let us know if you are new.

Cost:  $25 for AV Members, $35 for Non-Members. Includes bowls and a bbq dinner. Drinks are available from the bar (at bar prices). Please indicate any dietary requirements in your registration form.

What Happens on the Night? Aspergers Victoria volunteers with lived experience run the meetings and will welcome you and answer any question you may have (especially if you're new).  This night will involve bowling in teams. If you don't like barefoot you can use socks. There will also be a short lesson in how to bowl - more details and schedule to come.

This group is for Aspergers Victoria members. However you are welcome to attend one meeting to try before joining.

Getting There:  If driving, there is free parking at the venue.  Or if taking public tranport, the tram and train is nearby, e.g the No 16 tram takes you to Balaclava Rd/Hawthorn Rd and it is an approximately 4 minute walk from there.

This page is for booking places to this event only.
