Southern Group Parents & Carers Peer Group

***Note New Southern Groups Venue for all groups: Hampton Community Centre****

Our meetings will now be held at a new venue:  Hampton Community Centre.

This group is a place for Parents, Grandparents and Carers (of a person with Aspergers or High Functioning Autism) to meet, share their experiences and support each other.

We have a range of parents who attend, who have children of varying ages from toddlers through to young adults. The group is structured/facilitated to allow opportunity for all attendees to talk if they wish.

Discussion Topic:

We will go around the table as usual and encourage new people to tell us their story (or a topic may be listed closer to the date).

Attendance varies from month to month, and it's great to talk to others who have been through similar challenges.

Cost:  $5 AV Members, or $10 for Non-Members. Please pay on registration as payment on the night puts unnecessary stress and overhead on our volunteers.

Getting There:  Enter via the side door on WILLIS LANE. By car:  Please note that entry will be from the side door on WILLIS LANE. There is parking in the car park at the back of the community centre as well as in surrounding streets.  By Public Transport:  Hampton Station (Sandringham Line) is very close and there is also a bus service that stops nearby.

We rely on donations and memberships to provide specialised support, advocate for change and fill the gap in the specific services our community needs. Donate now and help us empower Aspergers.  All donations are tax deductible.
