Young Adults Hub: In-Person Meeting
About the Young Adults Group
Our Young Adults group is a great place for Aspergers, autistic and other similar neurodivergent profile adults aged 18 years - 35 years (approx.) to meet, chat, and play games with no social pressure. As this is a parent/carer-free zone, we invite any parents or carers to attend our separate Parents & Carers group.
This month, we are returning to Power Neighbourhood House, and we will be having a barbecue at this meeting. If you have any dietary requirements, please make sure you use the "Dietary Requirements" field in the registration form to tell us how we can accommodate your needs.
About our Group Leaders
The session is facilitated by the Young Adults Group team:
- Matt - YA Group Leader
- Lyndel - Young Adults Co-Facilitator
- Cal, Eleanor, Tim, Todd - YA Mentors
All AV volunteer group leaders share the lived experience of their group participants and welcome new attendees. All AV group leaders have a Working with Children Check.
Cost: $15 for AV members, $20 for non-members, $5 for +Groups members (to cover catering).
Become an AV member today to access discounted tickets for groups and events, other members-only programs, and to support the wonderful work our volunteers and staff team do for our community.
If you are registering to attend an AV group for the first time, you are welcome to use our first-time attendee ticket so our group facilitators know you're new and can introduce you to the group. Please email our AV admin team to access this.
If cost is a barrier, please contact Jenni.
