About the Network
AV’s Career Network (formerly known as the Neurodivergent Professionals Network) is an interest group for neurodivergent-identifying adults who are, or have previously worked in, professional roles and who are keen to connect with peers, share their stories, support each other, leverage their talents, and advocate for change in the perception of neurodivergent in the workplace and beyond.
This activity is for adults aged 18 and older who are currently or who have previously worked in professional roles and who identify as having Aspergers or being autistic. We are an inclusive group and welcome adults at all stages of the assessment / diagnostic journey, including self-diagnosed.
This meeting will be online via Zoom. We have included more information about Zoom and how to access the meeting below.
Topic
Our topic for September will be: Your career path - the story so far.
Attendees will be invite to participate in general discussion on this topic, and here are some suggested questions to consider:
- How did you get to where you are now?
- In your career so far, what have you loved, loathed, liked and longed for?
- Thinking about your career to date, how would you describe the goods bits, the bad bits and where you’re going next?
- If you had your time over, what would you have done differently?
About our Facilitators
All AV volunteer facilitators are peers of their group participants and all have a Working with Children Check.
Cost: FREE for September as an introductory offer. From October, registration fees will apply.
